Stop Leaks In Concrete
Water leakage via cracks and joints through concrete is an on-going headache. When concrete shifts, it usually cracks. The size of the crack depends on the amount of shifting, but the greater problem is the water leaking through the crack.
Freeze-thaw damage, corrosion, structural decay and even failure can all be evidence of cracks and water. Frigid weather conditions may cause ice build-up both above and below the surface. In addition, the water may damage the contents that are housed in the structure.
Process
To stop the leak we use
HYDROPHILIC POLYURETHANE GROUT, which is designed specifically for sealing leaks in concrete. These
chemical
grouting compounds are viscous liquids that look like honey. When mixed with water, the grout expands and quickly cures to a strong, flexible rubber.
This process is performed through our drill and injection method. The nature of the leak will determine the approach used by our technicians.
